Each word must start with the last letter of the previous one. Build the longest chain you can.
Classic: Each word must start with the last letter of the previous one. 3+ letters, no repeats. 5 lives. Lose a life for a wrong letter, unknown word or repeat. 1 pt per letter; words of 4+ letters earn +1s bonus.
CHAIN — type a word starting with the last letter of the one before it
VALID — 3+ letters, no repeats, must be a real word (checked against a dictionary)
LIVES — 5 lives; lose one for a wrong letter, unknown word, or repeat
SCORE — 1 point per letter; words of 4+ letters earn a time bonus
PART OF SPEECH — mode 2 adds a required word type for each link in the chain
