SPEED — switch between Normal and Slower playback
TYPE — type exactly what you hear, then Check
LIVES — you have 3; you lose one each time the timer runs out. The game goes on until they're gone
PAUSE — press Pause or Esc any time; the timer stops and the audio waits for you
HINT / SKIP — 3 skips per game (skipping doesn't cost a life); you start with 1 hint and earn another for every 10 correct answers
MODES — Easy and Medium drill single words; Hard and Expert use connected speech and full sentences
